|Sandy Needs Our Help!!!|
|UPDATE: Sandy seen the vet yesterday for her dental work and she had to have all of her teeth removed besides three! She now only has two bottom teeth and one top tooth left, but she is doing fine! She is living with a great family who even cooks her special food which is soft enough that she can eat and it won't hurt her gums. Sandy says thank you to all of the wonderful people that donated towards her dental work!
When Sandy came to the shelter, the first thing that everyone noticed was her extremely foul smelling breath. She was in need of dental care for sure. Until she settled down we did not want to put her through the stress but now that she has found her retirement home it is time. Dental care is not only to help with the breath issue but also helps prevent bacteria from building up and causing other heath issues.
It is estimated that the procedure will cost around $500.00 and I am looking for some kindhearted people that can donate a few dollars to help Sandy. If you can donate a few dollars towards the cost it will be greatly appreciated.
Donations can be made by using the Canada Helps button on our website, by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org , or you can call in a donation to the shelter 466-3489. Please say that your donation is for Sandy's dental work.
Sandy sends woofs and tailwags to let everyone know she is doing wonderful!!! She is Queen of the house

|Cat of the Week|
Yoko is a beautiful little female tabby kitten that is about five weeks old. Yoko and her brothers, Ying and Yang, came to us when they were found on the side of the road all by themselves with no mom cat in sight. She is the sweetest little kitten that loves to be cuddled! She is not quite old enough yet to be adopted, but she would love to have a family waiting for her when she is ready to be adopted!!
If you are interested in adopting this sweet little girl, please contact the Clarenville SPCA!
|Dog of the Week|
Zoey is a beautiful six year old spayed female beagle mix that came from a very loving family but unfortunately they could no longer care for her anymore. Zoey is a cuddle bug that loves for anyone to pet her or spend time with her. Her previous owners tell us that she hasn't spent much time around cats, but she loves other dogs, especially ones that are bigger than her. Zoey would do well in a home with older children, and usually had free roam of the house when her previous owners were out of the home. Zoey's tail automatically starts wagging when she sees her leash come out as she just loves to go outside for walks. She knows most of her basic commands and will do just about anything for a treat!
If you are looking for a new companion, please consider adopting Zoey!

I’m Gunther. I was surrendered to the rescue with my friend, Gomez. We want to stay together so we need someone who can give us both a home. We’re both really friendly, we love fresh veggies and hay, and scratches behind the ears :-) Please contact the rescue if you think you can give us a home!
