Nanook originally came from Labrador and was adopted but now her owners cannot look after her due to an illness in the family. Nanook is now 7 years young, spayed and vaccinated and is a big girl around 75lbs or so. Her owners said she is not good with male dogs and cats but is ok with smaller female dogs. She is a cuddly girl and she loves to play and being in a fenced yard where she can roam around. She loves to dig holes and bury her toys/treats. She loves a game of chase and doesn’t mind kids. She loves being around people, loves the car and loves the snow in the winter. She is still pretty active for an older dog.

This handsome boy is Tyson.

Tyson was adopted about 2 months ago, and his family said that he was a great dog, but he was aggressive with the families cats. After 2 months of trying it adjust, it was decided that Tyson would be better off finding a home where he was not always tempted to chase the cats.

Tyson is a 16 mth old male mixed breed, we were told that there is some Boxer mixed in his genes. he loves to go for walks and is trained to walk with a Halti. We were told that he is great in the house too.

Tyson is a friendly loving boy who needs a home without cats.

Update: Tyson is now NEUTERED!

This gorgeous boy is Kingsley.

Kingsley is a male Husky who about 1-2 yrs old. He came to us when his family had to rehome him due to severe allergies. He is a big boy who is super sweet, and seems to love people. He really enjoys a good brushing, doesn't mind the bathtub either. He is really good at giving cheek kisses to all those who are willing to accept them.

He will need an active home with a loving family.

**Lucy is part of the New Leash on Life Program at the Womens Correctional Center. If you're interested in meeting Lucy, please contact the Clarenville SPCA.**

Lucy is still patiently waiting for her forever home!

Lucy is a spayed female Husky mix, who is approximately 6 years. She has been at our shelter for over a year now and we have no idea why she keeps getting overlooked! She is a beautiful dog, with an amazing personality that would be a wonderful addition to someone's home.

Lucy is a great companion who loves human attention, enjoys walking and occasionally likes to swim. Lucy is kennel trained, is an excellent leash walker and knows her basic commands.

Lucy is also good with children and gets along well with male dogs however does not get along with female dogs or cats. Lucy was originally from Labrador and is accustomed to roaming freely, therefore would need to be tethered or live in a home with a fenced in yard. However, Lucy is very calm and low maintenance, spending her days quietly lying outside enjoying the fresh air. She even tries to talk to you from time to time!

Lucy has won the hearts of everyone she meets and deserves a furever home.

Lucy has become a big part of all of our hearts here at the shelter, but we would love to see her go to an amazing home where she can be loved by her family for the rest of her life! Lucy has won the hearts of everyone she meets and deserves a furever home.

Please consider making Lucy a part of your loving family.
