Meet Mickey!!

Mickey is an eight year old neutered male Bichon that is approximately twenty pounds. He is a very sweet little boy that hopes his stay at the shelter isn't a very long one. HIs previous owner tells us he absolutely adores children, and that he also gets along well with cats and other dogs. He seems to be fine when he is left alone in the house, and he is also kennel trained. He seems to love attention and would do anything for a few head scratches!!

If you are interested in adopting a sweet little dog, please consider adopting Mickey!!

Do you know who owns this dog?!

This little guy is missing from his home!!

This guy was found hanging around a nice person's house on Stringer's Lane in Milton and was found wearing a collar.

If you know who owns this dog please contact the Clarenville SPCA at 466-3489!

Meet Blue!

Blue is a twenty one month old neutered Siberian husky that came from a very loving family, but much to their dismay, they could no longer care for him anymore. His previous family tells us that he is an amazing dog that is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. They say that Blue loves to go for rides in the car, long walks, and that he loves to play fetch. Blue does not like to be left alone, therefore, it would be best if he goes to a family where people are home most of the time, or where he has another furry companion.

If you are interested in adopting a very handsome dog, please consider adopting Blue!

Meet Skippy.

Skippy has just arrived to our SPCA in the hopes of finding a new home. He is a friendly boy who is 2 yrs old, and a medium sized Terrier type, who has coarse/wiry fur.

Skippy was a housepet but has been living outside for the last 9 months or so. He seems like a very playful dog, who will do great with a family that likes to walk.

If Skippy sounds like the perfect dog for you... come and meet with him today.

Meet Shadow!!

Shadow is a four year old neutered Lab/Shepard/Husky mix that was brought to us with his best friend Jenny when an allergy developed in the family. His previous owners tell us that he is great around other dogs, cats, and also children! When they were left alone they had free run of the house with no issues. Shadow is a very well rounded dog that knows most of his basic commands and will do anything for a treat!

If you are interested in giving a sweet dog a new place to hang his leash, please consider adopting Shadow!!

Teeka is still with her owners and will stay there until a new home is found. If you are interested in Teeka, please contact the shelter.

A note from Teeka's current family...

Teek will be three years old this fall. We adopted her from the shelter in February of 2012 at 3 1/2months old. She has been spayed and has had her immunizations.

She has lived with us and our Jack Russell Terrier, since that time. She loves to play, has lots of energy, and loves to get rubbed and scratched which she rewards by washing your face lol.

She would do wonderful in a home with adults or older children that would be active with her. She is house and kennel trained but would love to sleep in the bed with you as she continues to 'sneak' on to ours.

She is a Sheppard-Husky mix and weighs about 45lbs. She will continue to live here with us until her new family are found.

Buddy is part of the New Leash on Life Program at the Women's Correctional Centre! If you wish to meet Buddy, please contact the Clarenville SPCA!!

Meet Buddy!!

Buddy is a two year old neutered male Australian Shepard mix that was previously adopted by a very loving family but sadly, he had to be returned. His previous owners tell us that Buddy is a great dog that gets along well with children and other dogs, but he hasn't spent much time around cats. Buddy is also known to have some separation anxiety, therefore, he would need to go to a home where the family will be home most of the time. Australian Shepards are known to be very active breeds, therefore, Buddy will have to go to an active home.

If you are interested in adopting a handsome dog, please consider adopting Buddy!!

Meet Rambo!!

Rambo is a handsome five month old Lab/Husky mix that came to us when his owners could no longer care for him anymore. Rambo is still in his puppy stage so he will need a family that is willing to spend time playing with him, and teaching him right from wrong. Although he is still young, he seems to be a good dog! He already knows some of his basic commands and listens pretty well. He doesn't seem to have any issues with the other dogs, but his previous owner tells us he does not like cats.

If you are interested in adopting a sweet young dog, then Rambo is the dog for you!!

**Lucy is part of the New Leash on Life Program at the Womens Correctional Center. If you're interested in meeting Lucy, please contact the Clarenville SPCA.**

Lucy is still patiently waiting for her forever home!

Lucy is a spayed female Husky mix, who is getting close to 6 years old. She has been at our shelter for over a year now and we have no idea why she keeps getting overlooked! She is a beautiful dog, with an amazing personality that would be a wonderful addition to someone's home. Lucy does have a few adoption restrictions, but that does not mean she isn't a great dog!

Since Lucy was originally a roamer in Labrador, she seems to still have a bit of her hunter instinct, therefore, she would not be able to go into a home with cats, or small critters. She does not do well with female dogs, but she seems to like smaller male dogs. She is used to being able to roam freely, so she will also need a home with a fenced in backyard where she can run but be safe at the same time.

Lucy would be a great companion for anyone that enjoys being outdoors. She loves to go for walks, and sometimes even ventures into the water in the warmer months. She really enjoys human companionship, especially children. She even tries to talk to you from time to time!

Lucy has become a big part of all of our hearts here at the shelter, but we would love to see her go to an amazing home where she can be loved by her family for the rest of her life!
