Cabot
This new addition we called Cabot. Cabot came from the same home as the kitty Scarlette (the cat who we removed from an investigation and she gave birth to kittens that same night). Cabot is a little thin and extremely dirty.....nothing some TLC won't take care of. He is a bigger doggie with some Husky in him and he is house trained. Please contact us to learn more about Cabot!

Murphy
This young male dog was found on the Ocean Pond Road area, which is about 10 minutes east of Whitborne.
We have called him Murphy and he is medium sized, thin, and abit timid but still friendly. It looks like he may have been out roaming for awhile now. If you know who owns this dog... Please have them call the SPCA at 466-3489.

Molson
Unfortunatley, Molson is back at the shelter again, due to a situation with a family member.
Molson is a 2 yr old female Shepard mix, who is looking for a new home. The people who had adopted her said that she was an excellent housepet, very quiet and well behaved. She could be left alone in the house without getting into anything. Molson is good with other dogs too and even likes cats!
If you are looking for a great doggie to share your life... then look no furtur than Molson.

Sweet Madix, now Max, is back with us again. Max is now about 8 months old, about 30 lbs and in need of another chance. He needs to be neutered asap. He is good with children and cats.

KelSea & KaySea

These dogs are not at the shelter. Their owners have health issues that require them to seek a new home for their pets. Below is information provided on each dog. For information on contacting the owner, please call 466-3489.
KelSea is the brown one and he is a 5 yr old unneutered male. KelSea is affectionate and loves getting his chest and tummy scratched or rubbed. He will bark if he doesn't know you, but will come around once he does. He is the brother to KaySea, and tends to take second place to her because she can be very pushy when it comes to getting the affection.
KaySea is a blonde, 5 yr old spaded female. She also is very affectionate and loves getting alot of attention. She also will bark at you if she doesn't know you, but will come around when she does. She is the sister to KelSea.
Both of them have not been raised around children, so I am not sure how they will behave around small children. They have been raised around cats and get along fine with them.
I would like to see both dogs be adopted together, because they have been together since birth, and will pine for each other if they are separated.

Lacey
Lacey was adopted from here Feb1/08 at 8 weeks old. She is now 2 years old, spayed and is currently living with another dog, older children and has lived with cats. Lacey's owners need to find her a new home. Lacey is nervous around strangers so she will need time to warm up to her new owners. She will be staying with her present owners until a new home is found. If you would like to meet Lacey, please contact the shelter.

Sissy is a young female dog approx.6-7 months old who was found wandering by the Shoal Harbour River. She is a very friendly girl. Sissy has not been claimed so she is now available for adoption. Siisy loves to play fetch and will make a good companion for her new family.

Griffin is in a foster home.
We have discovered that Griffin has an eye problem and will need to be given eye medications every few hours for the next while. If you are interested in meeting Griffin, please contact the shelter.
Griffin is a 3 year old long-haired, un-neutered, male Peek-a-Poo! He likes children and going for walks. He is a very friendly dog who is energetic and will need exercise to keep him healthy and happy! Would you like to have a new walking companion?
