Gage will need a patient owner that is willing to help him with the transition into being a house pet. Gage is a great dog who absolutely loves attention. He loves to go for walks, and seems to enjoy the water!

Meet Ranger!!

Ranger is a male German Short Haired Pointer that is approximately seven years old. He was an outdoor dog his whole life before he arrived at our shelter, but he is a very smart dog and we believe that he will be able to adjust well to living indoors. His previous owners tell us that he is a very smart dog that loves to go for long walks. He is a very friendly dog that seems to love the water.

If you are interested in giving this dog a great new life, please consider adopting Ranger!

Meet Zoey!!

Zoey is a beautiful six year old spayed female beagle mix that came from a very loving family but unfortunately they could no longer care for her anymore. Zoey is a cuddle bug that loves for anyone to pet her or spend time with her. Her previous owners tell us that she hasn't spent much time around cats, but she loves other dogs, especially ones that are bigger than her. Zoey would do well in a home with older children, and usually had free roam of the house when her previous owners were out of the home. Zoey's tail automatically starts wagging when she sees her leash come out as she just loves to go outside for walks. She knows most of her basic commands and will do just about anything for a treat!

If you are looking for a new companion, please consider adopting Zoey!

**Lucy is part of the New Leash on Life Program at the Womens Correctional Center. If you're interested in meeting Lucy, please contact the Clarenville SPCA.**

Lucy is still patiently waiting for her forever home!

Lucy is a spayed female Husky mix, who is getting close to 6 years old. She has been at our shelter for over a year now and we have no idea why she keeps getting overlooked! She is a beautiful dog, with an amazing personality that would be a wonderful addition to someone's home. Lucy does have a few adoption restrictions, but that does not mean she isn't a great dog!

Since Lucy was originally a roamer in Labrador, she seems to still have a bit of her hunter instinct, therefore, she would not be able to go into a home with cats, or small critters. She does not do well with female dogs, but she seems to like smaller male dogs. She is used to being able to roam freely, so she will also need a home with a fenced in backyard where she can run but be safe at the same time.

Lucy would be a great companion for anyone that enjoys being outdoors. She loves to go for walks, and sometimes even ventures into the water in the warmer months. She really enjoys human companionship, especially children. She even tries to talk to you from time to time!

Lucy has become a big part of all of our hearts here at the shelter, but we would love to see her go to an amazing home where she can be loved by her family for the rest of her life!
