Leo, a Happy Boy

Hi There,
Happy New Year to you all..I just wanted to give you a "Leo" update. He had his surgery on Dec. 13th and everything went perfectly as far as I can tell..it never took a feather out of him because he carried on like nothing happened and now he is all healed and good as new. He was 52 lbs. on the day of his surgery and he has grown a fair bit since then.
It turns out Leo is quite the gardener... he has pruned most of the trees and shrubs in out back yard and has completely removed some of them so we can renovate in the spring. He already has the holes dug for some brand new ones :) He has energy to burn and if we don't get out for a long walk everyday...we can expect some landscaping to be done. Having said that he is absolutely adorable and loving and just wants to be where we are. We did some obedience training in the fall, so he has very good manners and getting better all the time.
Here are a few recent photos. Take care.

Dakota a.k.a. Katie, Getting Lots of Love!

Happy New Year!
We just wanted to write with an update from "Katie" whom we renamed Dakota. :)
She is growing so fast and is such a good dog. It didn't take her long to get trained at all, she is very smart and has learned some tricks quite quickly.
Our new favorite is we say to her " Go get your baby" and she brings us her red teddy bear. :) She loves to play outside in the snow, running up the trails with us, playing peek a boo, she walks really well on a leash as well. It's a struggle to get her to come inside. I wasn't sure how she would like it in car but it's like a sleeping pill for her, haha. At night she sleeps with us.
She is our little baby! She is good with kids and everyone loves her to bits. :)
She has lost her thick fur and now her coat is smooth and silky. I don't see any husky at all. Rotty for sure in there.
We will keep in contact.
Thanks again for our wonderful addition.
Krista & Keith.

Buggsie Living the Good Life!

Hi folks!
I adopted Buggsie, a black Lab cross back on Oct 12th. I love him dearly!!! I am including a picture of Buggsie in his favorite chair. Bugs was a member of your Correctional Center program and was being looked after by Rosie, I believe. Please let her know Buggsie is enjoying his new home, and I’m sure thanks to her, as well, is such a loving best fur friend.
Thanks for your help!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Jagger and his family!

Hello from Jagger and the rest of us were doing good and I hope the same for you guys. We have move from Glovertown and now have our own house in Grand Bank just Jagger, Fable, Mikki and my self aka Danielle. I can see a change in Jagger every day hes getting better and better, calming down and rare accidents in the house, but that's when I'am home otherwise a bad case of separation anxiety sets in the countless stuff is destroyed, to long, sad and expensive to list. lol So unfortunately he is kennel bound till I come home which sucks cause Fable and Mikki *When shes over* can be left alone for a few hours in the house with nothing touch so its like hes left out of the pack.
I attached some Christmas pictures and a few others I thought you would enjoy.
Wishing you the best.

Finn a.k.a. Cujo Looking Wonderful

Hi there,
I have been looking at the various messages at Christmas and decided it was way past time that I sent you a couple of pictures of Finn a.k.a. Cujo
As you can see he has not lost any weight :-). In fairness he does not eat all that much and only his Purina Cat Chow{ I measure it out now and again. He continues to thrive and still gets on well with all the neighbourhood cats who come to call.
Winter is not his favourite time, I am afraid. The little path gets him to back of the garden.. you can tell by the stance that he is not best pleased with all this white stuff, or with the tree which occupies the window with that is used for street viewing.
Everybody thinks he is a fine fellow and he is a great favourite around here.
Hope you had a good Christmas Season and all good things for 2012.
