Cooper, The Cat, Happy In His New Home

Hi Clarenville SPCA :)

We just wanted to update you on Cooper. He's been to visit our vet here in Gander (and she nearly took him home he was so sweet). He was tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV and was negative for both! Our vet says he is in great health and is a sturdy, happy kitten! He has continued to settle in very nicely with us here in Gander and really could not be a bigger joy. We tell everyone who asks about the great animals waiting for homes in Clarenville and how great you guys were in helping us adopt little Cooper. We really couldn't be happier with him, he's just a wonderful little guy.
I've attached a couple of pictures for you. :)

Thanks again, Karen & Steve Rowe

Tigger & Mittens

Hi Tina
I'm sending you a picture of Tigger and one of Mittens the two cats I adopted from your shelter. They are the most beautiful cats. Bill and I love them very much. Look at how cute they are. Thought I'd update you on what they are like now.

Toby

“Hey everyone! Toby here! I’ve been a permanent part of my family now for almost a year and I am loving it! I was taken in originally as a foster cat when the shelter needed to make room for some more homeless kitties but my foster family decided to keep me! I was rescued from an unfortunate situation with 25 of my friends on Christmas Eve. Can you believe I was one of the last 2 to find a home? I can’t imagine why. I’m a charming, easy going kitty and I love to hang out on the back patio in the sun (where there is some) and chase my 15 year old kitty ‘sister’ around. She doesn’t really like that all that much though I don’t think. At least the dog likes to play! It’s great here and I’m having a wonderful time. Thanks, SPCA, for giving me a second chance at life.”

Gus and Guy

Hi Tina,

Here's some pictures of our kitties Gus and Guy.

There's a photo here of Guy on top of the closet door checking out the painting that we had just finished in the hallway and one of him doing a little dance for us. There also another one of Gus checking out the new dishwasher that we just put in. Also, a picture of Gus, watching the Westminister Dog Show on TV. He sat there for about half an hour watching, I think he was really enjoying it!

They sure make our day interesting and we adore them. They love for us to cuddle them when they get tired. We sure are glad that we adopted the two of them because they have so much fun together, they love to sleep together and curl up together. This place sure wouldn't be the same without them.

Juno and Jasper

Hey Everyone,

I'm Jasper and I was one of Rosie's puppies. My Mom and Dad came and brought me home on November 11, 2006. I slept upside down on my Mom's shoulder all the way home to CBS. I am sooooo happy here! I have my own backyard to play in and lots of people who love me. But best of all, I have a big brother named Juno (and when I say big I mean BIG). He came all the way from Corner Brook to the Clarenville SPCA in July of 2008. Boy, was he ever grumpy when he first moved in! Now, he wants to hog all the attention...but I don't mind cause I get to sleep on the bed haha! We play tug of war all the time and have so much fun together.
We just wanted to say thanks for all your help in getting us to our new home!

The Boys, Jasper & Juno

Jasper, the smaller dog, was brought to the SPCA after an investigation was done. He and his 7 newborn siblings was born outside in the cold, and living in an unfit dog house. His mom and sibling were immediately brought to the SPCA where they grew up and were placed in loving homes! A happy ending to a bad beginning!

Brady's Birthday

Hi Clarenville SPCA,
Can you believe it has been 2 years since we adopted Brady! We celebrated the second anniversary of his Got Ya Day a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time in the woods with all his doggy friends. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of all the dogs enjoying the hike and cook-up...what a sight we must have been. But we did get some pictures of Brady enjoying his birthday cake made for him by Beagle Paws. He gives two paws up for the cake...just check out the pictures and you will see how much he enjoyed it.
Brady has been doing really well since he joined our family. When he arrived with us he was so underweight we gave him the nickname "Bones". Now we are wondering where his bones are! Brady is a sweet little boy that adores to be cuddled...although his favourite activity has got to be annoying his doggy brother Hershey. They are both doing very well and send their best wishes to everyone at the shelter.

Josh a.k.a Karl

Hello everyone,
Sorry that this comes so late, but we wanted to let you know how thrilled we are to have Karl(Josh), as a part of our happy little family. What a pleasure he is to have around. Since coming to us, he has learned all kinds of new tricks, is able to stay home by himself in the house with no crate, he loves weekends at the cabins, chasing around his new cat buddies, sneaking into his parents bed at night, and overall being a great addition to our home. Who knew a dog would have such a great sense of humor?! He makes us laugh constantly with all of his quirky tendencies. We just wanted to let you know he is doing fantastic, and wanted to thank you so much for letting us give this sweet, sweet boy a forever home.
