The Clarenville Area SPCA would like to thank OMB Parts and Industry Limited, Clarenville for thinking of the animals during their recent "Customer Appreciation Day" held Tuesday, June 29.
All funds raised went directly to the SPCA. A great time was had by all!

| Walk for the Animals |
The Walk for the Animals took place Sunday, June 13 at Elizabeth Swam Park.
There was a fine crowd of dogs and people! Peppy, a former shelter dog adopted by Ray Blundon was there for the third year in a row. It is great to see such support.
Congratulations to the top three pledge sheet winners. Wilma Brown submitted the highest with second place being Christina Ricketts and third place Hayley Prince. Thanx so much for your support!
Thank you to all the walkers and all the people who supported them with pledges.

| Spring Sale |
Another year and another spring sale... on Sunday, May 2 the annual SPCA Spring Sale took place at the Clarenville Events Centre.
Supporters donated goods and baked items and many more purchased the items. We can't thank everyone enough for all the help and support.
We hope to see you again next year and please bring a friend!

The Town of Clarenville's Facebook page is using a picture of the Clarenville Day SPCA booth to promote "Municipal Awareness Week."

| Balbo Elementary - Grade 4 |
Students of the Grade 4 class at Balbo Elementary visited the shelter in March and donated dog and cat food and treats.
Every donation helps the shelter keep costs down.

| Pennies for Puppies |
Students of Catalina Elementary recently held a fundraiser called "Pennies for Puppies" and raised $315.
That's alot of pennies!
Thanks so much for your efforts. Every penny counts!

| Christmas Basket |
The Christmas basket at the shelter this December overflowed almost daily!
You generously donated canned pet food, blankets, dog and cat toys, treats, leashes, collars, and even a can of tuna to the shelter.
Some of the donations were wrapped by children and more contained Christmas cards for the shelter animals, workers and volunteers.
Thank you so very much to everyone who gave the gifts. Every can, treat and toy makes a difference!
