Christmas Basket
The Christmas basket at the shelter this December overflowed almost daily!
You generously donated canned pet food, blankets, dog and cat toys, treats, leashes, collars, and even a can of tuna to the shelter.
Some of the donations were wrapped by children and more contained Christmas cards for the shelter animals, workers and volunteers.
Thank you so very much to everyone who gave the gifts. Every can, treat and toy makes a difference!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We have almost reached the goal of collecting 1 million coins before the end of December.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this campaign.
The coins collected from the SPCA porcline cats located throughout businesses in the region add up quickly. In 2010, please continue to place your change in these porceline cats.
Your support, as always, is greatly appreciate. ~ smile ~

Christmas Bake Sale
The Christmas Bake Sale took place at the Random Square Mall, Clarenville December 5.
Woweee! The baked goods were grabbed up fast--the tables of knitted goods, SPCA merchandise, dog and cat treat bags, and SPCA cookbooks offered a variety of gift ideas.
Many thanks, once again, to the bakers, knitters and people who visited the sale and purchased items.

Fall Sale
The annual Clarenville Area SPCA Fall Sale took place October 25 in the Clarenville Stadium.
Congratulations to Angela and Ivan Keats of Port Blandford on winning the Christmas wreath and centerpiece that was on tickets at the sale (see picture of Ivan Keats). A big THANK YOU to Mr. Ambrose Penton for making and donating both prizes.
The sale was very successful thanks to people who braved the rain and cold to come out and support the SPCA. Thank you to the people who purchased items, the people that donated used items, baked goods and preserves, food and items for the lunch, vehicles and time to set up for the sale...the list goes on and on. Such an event requires the support of so many.
Thank you one and all!
